How to Book Ferries with Your Greek Island Pass

If you're planning to explore stunning Greece with your Greek Island Pass, it's important to know how to book ferries for your journey. While the ferry services cannot be booked via our system, we can provide you with information about carriers and advice on how to book your reservations.  
 
Please note that this booking guide is for Greek Island 4-day and Greek Island 6-day Pass holders only. If you have a Global Pass or One Country Greece/Italy Pass, please follow the instructions in this article.

Reservations for Greek ferries can be booked on the following websites: 

• Blue Star Ferries (domestic ferries)
• Hellenic Seaways (domestic ferries)
• Superfast Ferries website (international ferries)
• Anek Lines website (domestic ferries)

The booking process is very easy (see the explanation below). With the Greek Islands Pass, you are entitled to free reservations on ferries that are included in the selected Pass. 

 

Booking Domestic Ferries

1. Visit Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways or Anek Lines website
2. Fill out your booking preferences
3. Select your preferred ferry and click “Proceed”
   
   Please note that Greek Island Pass holders can only book economy class seats when booking domestic ferries. However, as a Pass holder you are entitled for a 30% discount on possible on-board upgrades.
    
4. Under the “Seat Type” select “Economy”
5. Under the “Passenger Type” select “Full fare 11-99”
6. Under the “Discount..” select your Pass type
7. Enter the passenger details
8. Under the “Discount ID / Document” enter your Pass Cover Number which you can find the Pass Cover Number on the back of your paper Pass cover, near the QR code. If you are travelling with a mobile Pass, please fill in your 6-digit mobile Pass number, which you can find in your order confirmation email.
9. Proceed further to complete your booking
    

1. Visit Superfast Ferries website
2. Fill out your booking preferences
3. Select your preferred ferry and click “Proceed”
   
   Please note that Greek Island 6-day Pass holders can only book Airplane Type seats when booking international ferries (1st class Pass holders can also book a bed in 4-people cabin). However, as a Pass holder you are entitled to a 30% discount on possible on-board upgrades.
    
4. Under the “Seat Type” select “Airplane Type Seats”
5. Under the “Passenger Type” select your age category
6. Leave the “Discount..” field empty
7. Enter the passenger details
8. Leave the “Discount ID / Document” field empty
9. In the “Add Contact Information” section, under the “Additional discount” select your Pass type.

10. Proceed further to complete your booking
     

    
     

    
    Alternatively, reservations or tickets for domestic and international ferries can be booked by contacting the carrier directly.
