Sometimes, payment errors can occur when there are too many reservations in a single order. This may cause the system to time out while processing the payment. To avoid this, we recommend splitting your reservations into two or more separate orders and keeping the number of train reservations per order below four. If your order contains multiple paper reservations, it is usually best to keep those together in one order so that you only pay the shipping fee once.
Another possible cause is incorrectly formatted address information. If your address is particularly long, please try splitting it across two address lines. Long address fields can occasionally cause issues when the system generates payment details.
Payment problems can also be caused by browser cookies, cached data, or previous failed booking attempts. In these cases, the following steps often resolve the issue:
- We highly recommend using a desktop or laptop computer with Google Chrome.
- Temporarily disable any browser extensions or add-ons.
- Remove all reservations from your cart and log out of your account.
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies. If you are booking through a mobile device, clear the cache and cookies of your device's default browser.
- Open a new incognito/private browsing window.
- Log in again and attempt the booking from the beginning.
I see a blank screen after payment:
If you see a blank screen after completing the payment, please do not place another order immediately.
First, check whether the payment has been deducted from your bank account. If it has, check your email inbox for a confirmation email. Please note that confirmation emails can take up to one hour to arrive.
If the payment was taken but you have not received a confirmation after one hour, please contact Customer Service for assistance.
If no payment was deducted from your account, you may try booking again.
My payment was rejected:
If your payment was rejected, please first verify that:
- You have sufficient funds available.
- All payment details were entered correctly.
- Your card has not reached a daily, weekly, or monthly spending limit.
If possible, try a different payment method. We generally recommend iDEAL or PayPal, as these methods tend to have the highest success rates.
If everything appears correct and the payment is still being rejected, please contact Customer Service, and we will investigate further.
In case the issue is still not resolved, please contact us.
