Yes, you can. Some reservations are only available as paper tickets, which we send by post. If you’re already travelling and can’t receive them at home, you can have them sent to your hotel instead.
Before you book
Check with your hotel that they accept post for guests. Many hotels do, often through their reception or concierge, but not all. You can usually find this on the hotel’s website, or ask them directly.
How to fill in the address
When you enter the delivery address, add the name of the hotel first, followed by your name. This helps the hotel staff recognise the post as yours. Double-check the full address before you pay.
Good to know
- Allow enough time: make sure your tickets can arrive before you need them, especially if they’re being sent to another country.
- Track your delivery: once your tickets are on their way, you’ll get a tracking code so you can follow your delivery.
- Shipping fee: we charge €9 per order to send paper tickets. If you’re booking several paper reservations, put them in one order so you only pay once.
Other options
- Book an e-ticket with the train operator: train operators often offer the same reservation as an e-ticket on their own website, so nothing needs to be posted. See all ways to book in each country
- Send your tickets to someone you know: have them delivered to a friend or family member and pick them up from them. Make sure someone will be there to receive them, and that they’re happy for their name to be on the delivery.
- Book at the station: book your reservation at the station when you arrive. This depends on availability, so it works best for trains that don’t sell out.
