It is important that you take the Travel diary with you when traveling with your Interrail paper Pass – it’s attached to the Pass Cover. For each trip (before boarding a train, bus or boat) you must record your trip on it. If you do not record the journey details you risk getting a fine and having to pay for a full fare ticket.
If the travel diary becomes separated from the Pass cover, you may tape it back using transparent tape. If the travel diary get lost, you can go to a main train station and ask for a new one. Additionally, you can download an extension.
