Your travel plans may sometimes change due to unforeseen circumstances, and you may wonder whether you can cancel your reservations and receive a refund. Please note that not all reservations are refundable, as refund conditions depend on the policy of each railway carrier.
We recommend checking the refund conditions before cancelling your reservation. You can find detailed information on our “Exchange and refund conditions for reservations” page.
Please note that, in most cases, the refund amount depends on when the reservation is cancelled. A booking fee of €2 per passenger per train reservation is non-refundable.
How to cancel a reservation and check the refund amount
Go to your Reservations Overview and select the “Refund tickets” option. Before confirming the cancellation, you will need to complete three steps:
As you can see, the cancellation and refund process is simple, and all relevant information is provided beforehand, allowing you to make an informed decision before cancelling your booking. Please note that this process only applies to standard refunds.
Please note that if you request a refund through your online account, the cancellation is considered a voluntary cancellation and standard refund conditions will apply.
Keep in mind that cancellation and refund requests are irreversible. Therefore, if your train has been cancelled by the carrier, or if you have any doubts or questions, please contact our Customer Service team before submitting a refund request.
