You can book seat reservations with us for many trains in Spain, including AVE, AVE Internacional, Alvia, Euromed, Intercity, Iryo and TGV. For other Spanish trains, and for all trains between Spain and Portugal, you’ll need to book another way.

Online with other booking platforms
For trains you can’t book with us, these platforms offer domestic and international trains in Spain, including AVE and TGV:
At the station in Spain
You can book reservations for domestic and long-distance trains at the ticket desk of any long-distance station in Spain. See the list of long-distance stations (PDF)
Avant trains can only be booked at the station. You can book them on the day you travel or up to one year in advance.
By phone with Renfe
You can call Renfe phone sales to pre-reserve a seat. A pre-reservation holds a seat for you, but it isn’t a reservation until you’ve paid for it:
- Call Renfe at least 24 hours before your train leaves.
- You’ll get a booking code (PNR).
- Within 72 hours, take the code and your Pass to a station ticket office in Spain to pay for and collect your reservation.
If you don’t collect it within 72 hours, the pre-reservation expires.
