Starting in April 2024, Eurostar is introducing a new requirement where passenger data (passport details) will be requested in advance during the booking process for travel to/from the UK.
The procedure will be similar to entering passport information, just like when checking in for a flight. The change is intended to improve the check-in procedures at the train station terminals.
What does this mean for pass holders?
From April, pass holders will no longer receive e-tickets for Eurostar travel directly after purchase. Reservation tickets will only be available to download after entering passport details on the Eurostar Manage Booking page. Pass holders will be sent an email confirming the purchase of their Eurostar reservation. The email will direct users to the Eurostar Manage Booking page to complete the booking process and download the e-ticket.
