OUIGO trains in France work a little differently from other trains. You book with us, but your ticket comes directly from OUIGO, and you manage your booking with OUIGO too. Here’s what to expect.
Booking
- Book with us: OUIGO reservations are only available on our website. You can’t book them at the station, on board or with other booking websites.
- 2nd class only: OUIGO trains only have 2nd class. You can travel on them with a 1st or 2nd class Pass, but there’s no refund or partial reimbursement for travelling in 2nd class with a 1st class Pass.
Getting your ticket
Your ticket is issued 4 days before your train leaves, so you won’t be able to see it before then. Your booking is still confirmed.
When your ticket is ready, OUIGO sends it to you by email, together with your OUIGO booking code. You’ll need this code to manage your booking on OUIGO’s website.
Used Apple’s “Hide My Email” when you created your account? Your ticket will be sent to your Apple relay email address. Check your Apple ID settings to make sure emails are forwarded to your personal inbox.
Cancelling or changing your booking
You manage OUIGO bookings on OUIGO’s booking page, not in your Interrail account. To log in, use the email address you booked with and the booking code from OUIGO’s email.
- Cancelling: you can cancel for a full refund up to 1 hour before your train leaves, apart from the booking fee.
- Changing: we can’t change OUIGO bookings. Depending on OUIGO’s conditions, you may be able to change yours on OUIGO’s booking page.
- If OUIGO cancels your train: you can change your booking for free or get a refund. Arrange this directly with OUIGO on their booking page.
Lost your booking code?
Go to OUIGO’s Forgotten booking code page and enter your departure and arrival stations, your travel date and the email address you booked with. OUIGO will send you a new email with your booking code.
