If your SNCF train was cancelled or disrupted, how you get your money back depends on whether your train has already left.
When this applies
This applies to SNCF reservations, such as TGV INOUI, where your ticket says “Bought via Interrail”. You’ll also see a 6-character booking reference on your ticket.
Does your ticket say “Bought via” with the SNCB logo instead? Then this doesn’t apply to you. Contact us and we’ll help you.
Paid with reservation credits from your Plus Pass? This doesn’t apply to you either. Contact us instead, as refunds work differently for reservations booked with credits.
If your train hasn’t left yet
You can cancel your reservation yourself before your train leaves, and get a full refund of the reservation price. Go to Reservations overview in your account and select Refund tickets. The €2 booking fee isn’t refunded.
If your train has already left
Request your refund directly from SNCF. We can’t do this for you. You can submit your claim on either of these pages:
This also applies if you can no longer cancel the reservation in your account yourself.
What to have ready
- your booking reference, shown on your ticket
- the last name you used when booking
What happens next
SNCF reviews your request and handles the refund directly with you.
