Yes. Seats on popular trains can sell out, especially on high-speed and night trains. If your train is fully booked, you can choose another train, or buy a full-price ticket directly from the train operator.
Eurostar has a limited number of seats for Pass travellers
Eurostar only has a limited number of seats for travellers with a Pass. These can sell out while the train still has other seats available, so book as soon as you know your travel dates.
Book as early as you can
For most trains, you can book 60 to 90 days before you travel. You can book Eurostar with us up to six months in advance. It’s best to book early if you’re travelling in summer (June to September), at weekends or around holidays.
Keep in mind that these booking periods are a guide. Sometimes booking opens later than expected.
How to check availability
To see live prices and availability in our booking tool, log in to your account. You need a Pass, but it doesn’t have to be activated yet.
You can also check the train operator’s website. Their availability might not match ours, though, especially for Eurostar, where seats for travellers with a Pass are limited.
